Key points of potted lily cultivation technology

A. Selection of strain varieties

The common strains of potted lilies are oriental, Asian, iron gun and rose lilies. The varieties used for potting and cut flowers are different, so we should choose a special potted variety of genotype dwarf in the selection of potted lilies. For example, the popular eight o'clock, red key, red Martin, pink Robin, showbiz, souvenir, Sarah, etc. are all special potted varieties in the market now.

Second, the preparation of cultivation substrate

The substrate is made of well-drained and permeable grass charcoal soil (it is recommended to use imported grass charcoal soil) or coconut coir, and it is advisable to ask for dryness and humidity during cultivation. The pH value of the substrate is 5.0-6.5 for Oriental lilies, and 6.0-7.O for Asiatic lilies.

Three, the choice of pot and seed ball specifications

Oriental lilies: it is recommended to use a pot diameter of 19CM or 21CM two-color pot, respectively, planted 14/16 seed bulbs 3, 16/18 of the ball 5, I will be placed towards the edge of the bulb head of the pot.

Asiatic lilies: It is recommended to escape with a two-color pot of 19CM diameter, 10/12 or 12/14 seed bulbs, plant 5 seed bulbs in the pot, and 3 seed bulbs in each pot of 14/16, and place the head of the bulbs towards the edge of the pot.

IV. Planting of seed bulbs

The seed bulbs should be planted in pots with 1CM potting soil at the bottom, and the thickness of the substrate covering the upper part of the seed bulbs should be more than 8CM. After planting, give a thorough watering.

V. Rooting management!

After planting, the best temperature for root growth is 10-12℃, if possible, it is best to put it in the cooler to maintain this temperature for rooting.

Six, greenhouse daily management

After the rooting stage, i.e. 2-3 weeks after planting, fertilization can be started. It is recommended to pour a quick-acting compound fertilizer with a ratio of 15:20:25 of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium. The temperature requirement is 15-25℃ for Oriental type; 3-5℃ for Asian type is also acceptable at night, but no matter what, try not to let the temperature difference between day and night is too big.
